Dr. Ignatius. O. Ukpabi, also known as the "The Mayor" is an Epidemiologist. He had always nursed the dream of being a scientist. Dr. Ukpabi pursued his dream from the halls of Stella Maris College, Port Harcourt, Nigeria to the Federal School of Science, Lagos, Nigeria, Howard University, Washington, DC and The George Washington University, Washington, DC, where he obtained the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Epidemiology. Dr. Ukpabi has served as a consultant in a number of prominent research institutions in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and has received many citations and accolades for his involvement in national and community services.
